About Soundwave Studios...
Hello , I'm Alan Lucchesi, the owner of Soundwave Studios. My father Dino played french horn for the San Francisco Symphony and my mother Peggy played percussion for the San Francisco Symphony. I've played the drums in bands throughout my life and I opened my first rehearsal studio in Oakland, CA in 1983 as a teenage student at UC Berkeley (because my neighbors always called the police when the band rehearsed at the house)

Jackson Street Studios, 601 Jackson Street in Oakland Chinatown, opened 1989
Soundwave Studios, 2200 Wood Street, West Oakland, opened 1994
Soundwave Studios, 1255 21st Street, West Oakland, opened 2002
LPC was sold and is now called 43rd St. Studios. Jackson Street closed in 2002. I currently manage 185 music studios at the two West Oakland buildings.
